The doctrine of the believer’s glorification describes how believers in Christ will inherit the throne of glory by partaking fully in the divine nature and possessing godlike bodies through their resurrection from the dead and ascension into an eternity with Christ. The doctrine surveys the believer’s eternal state of redemption in heaven when he or she shall be fully delivered from sin, freed from all encumbrances of the flesh, and be fully clothed with the robe of righteousness. In this final book of the Romans series, the author asserts that glorification is a message much needed in Christendom today. A half-baked Gospel that empowers people to live victorious lives here on earth is insignificant if it does not include a well-done message that prepares them for eternity. It is indeed a miserable gospel that focuses on this transient life and fails to prepare believers for eternity.
